97 Dogs Started this Series

Test Dogs started out the day at 7:37 am, beginning with "Gretta," Then came "Steel," giving the competitors a good idea of what they might expect for these first two series.

Our first running dog #50 FC Black Lager Eleven, "Lager" with handler Jerry Patopea started the 82nd running of the National Retriever Championship at 7:59 am!

Our weather started in the 20’s with snow and sleet early. Temps reached into the upper 30’s later, but it remained mostly cloudy and cold with a slight wind at 8-10 mph. It was a crisp day to be in the field with these talented retriever teams working hard!

No-Bird / Re-Run (6): 51 – 16 – 26 – 27 – 35 (2x) – 38
Handles (8): 19 – 21 – 23 – 69 – 74 – 77 – 82 – 87
Double Handles (1): 26
